Respecting you. ‘ I ’ an inspiration from Nature, celebration of the elements of nature. ‘ I ’ am Special, ‘ I ’ am Unique and so is this Limited Edition design specially handcrafted for the ‘ I ’ in you. The garments are our 1st step towards reviving a 300 year old fading art form, currently restricted only to a single family. This art piece is created by the original artist himself, and is a conversation piece you wear, talk about and contribute to its revival story. This form of art is called “Mata Ni Pachedi” which literally means “behind the mother goddess”. It is a traditional hand painting craft using 100% natural organic colors obtained from alum, harda, kesudo flower, henna, iron and jaggery and more. Continuing our commitment towards ethical fashion the garments are handcrafted out of the original pure Old-World cotton of India. “Kala Cotton” of Kutch is one of the few genetically pure cotton species remaining in India. It is indigenous to Kutch and by default organic, as the farmers do not use any pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. After years of experimentation and perfecting spinning and weaving techniques, the weavers have created a holistic and practical supply chain to convert raw cotton into beautiful hand-woven textiles.
